Olatimbo Ayinde is a consummate oil and gas expert, with over 17 years of experience in the Energy, Maritime, Logistics and Infrastructure sectors. An astute manager of resources and a strategic thinker, Mrs Ayinde is conversant with hedging instruments, financial derivatives, corporate policy formulation and implementation, as well as interface with regulators. She is a foremost Maritime Security Expert, consulting for major operators globally. As the principal promoter and founding member of Dutchford Exploration and Production, she brings a wealth of experience and industry experise to the establishment.

Prior to the merger Dutchford Exploration and Production Ltd, Olatimbo was pioneer of the Dutchess group a Majority share-holder of Dutchford. She is presently the Group CEO of Dutchess Energy an indigenous downstream petroleum company. Under her leadership Dutchess grew to become a major player in the oil and gas industry where she facilitated trades in crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, condensate, fuel oils and white products. Mrs Ayinde is the brain behind the successful positioning and exponential growth of Dutchess Group in product distribution value chain consisting of ownership of ultra-modern Oil tank farm, Retail outlets all over the country and a fleet of Oil Tankers.

Her careers in Oil and Gas originated from Maritime Sector providing Logistics for Oil traders moving their petroleum products from Offshore and within the Nigerian territorial waters including the inland waterways. 

She successfully managed a fleet of 9 Vessels ranging from 3,000 DWT to 48,000 DWT. She grew Tubbs Marine & Energy a foremost indigenous Maritime company to the largest indigenous Tanker vessel owners. To date she retains the prestigious Ocean title of “Queen of the Sea” having been the biggest indigenous female shipowner for which she received the Presidential Recognition award in November 2021.

Olatimbo is also the founder of Silent Whispers, a foundation aimed at mentoring, elevating and the sponsorship of vulnerable women.

Olatimbo has a certification in Trading Oil on International Markets from University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Middlesex University London. Olatimbo Ayinde is fluent in over 3 languages and enjoys mentoring young professionals. When she’s not mentoring or reading, she can be found at her favourite Sport – Formula 1. She is blessed with 2 lovely children.
